It has been a while since I finished this piece and it made its home on the wall of its owner.  It was a challenge from start to finish with a lot of prep work and research.  

It is the largest project (outside of the tables and chairs I have made) I have created.  It is also one of the most fun projects I have done.  While working on this outside in the evenings and on weekends, it was a great conversation piece as folks in the neighborhood would wonder what I was making.  I received a lot of compliments and encouraging words.  The encouragement was wonderful and much needed at certain times when I would loose faith in my ability.

Even though it has been a while, I wanted to finally post the project from start to finish.  I started a video page on youtube.com for the various projects and outings.  Future videos will feature flies I am tying or lessons on fishing techiques.
