As I am scrolling through the hundreds of pictures I’ve taken of my projects over the years, I came across this one.

At first I scrolled passed it but then something caught made me go back to it, kind of like a little attention grenade.

As I sat and stared at the picture, it occurred to me how much I missed in this project by being too anxious to get it done.  In all actuality, I am now sorry I painted it!

I now realize the beauty in the lines and curves of the subjects and not so much the color. 

It is amazing what we can miss if we forget to stop for a moment.
